Guys this happened this morning:
I got up before Michael came home at his usual time (around 7:30 am since he works nights). I let the dogs (we are house sitting for a cute-ums doggy so aptly named, Tank) out whilst using all the strength I had to drag my overfilled garbage can to the curb for pick up. That was super rough, because it was super heavy and I'm like super not very strong. Ok, I am strong, but still, it was quite the ordeal. Then, I threw in a load of darks because I needed my sportsbra clean for Zumba. Only I forgot to put said sportsbra in the wash and had to rewash everything in like 20 minutes so I went to shake my booty in wet clothes. The bra thing didn't really add to my overall feeling of accomplishment but I still did some laundry.
You all may think the aforementioned list of chores done was boring and seemingly small, but let me fill you in on a little not so secret, secret: I'm horribly lazy. So guys, this morning was big. I didn't watch people give birth over the toilet to any children they had no idea they were carrying on TLC. I didn't spend anytime catching up with my girl Serena Van Der Woodsen. Last but not least, I had no time to keep up with my BFF's the Kardashians. Forgive me for being redundant, but this morning was big.
In other news, it's the last day of summer term. In my mind that reads, "I only have like 1.5 weeks of summer break, a only ONE more semester left EVAR, only 4 weeks after that and then I'm having our baby." I was thinking the other day that this pregnancy can't go by fast enough. That's only because I had a wonderful doctor's appointment and thought about all the fun we're going to have with our baybay next summer. It's not because I'm miserable, or that my pants don't fit, or blah blah (insert pregnancy complaint here). It's because I'm so excited! Guys, it's going to be super great.
I should note that today is particularly grand because there's this girl that's always sitting in the most comfortable spot during my break and I WANT TO SIT THERE. Today, she wasn't there, so guess where I am?
OH - what I meant to say earlier was that because I did so many cool/productive things today, I thought, "What the hell, I'm feelin sassy, lets go write on the blog. Maybe I'll even keep up with it this time!" (You should know by know that, that's probably not likely.)
Also, I was a total loser and cried on the whole way home from watching Batman on our anniversary. I blame hormones and Brent, who left us, his best friends, for lame-o Japan.
Oh and I would just like to say that I am so happy to be finished with religion classes. I never have to hear, "Yeah, um, I'm a convert and I'm not originally from UT..." every freaking class period (mind you it's the same person every time in any class). Ok. I get it. I am too and it was hard at first, but do you see me talking about how great I am because I'm different every Tuesday and Thursday from 1-3? No. Usually because I don't talk in class because I never do the reading, but mainly because everyone is the same in the eyes of Heavenly Father, convert or not, member or not. So, that being said, I don't feel it necessary to say it unless the Spirit impresses me to do so. Sorry, rant for the day :)

I thought updating this thing was usually the wife's job? I hear that my posts are more awesome anyway so I suppose that it is for the best. I using the iMac in the back room getting ready to go on a bike ride when I noticed our blog in the favorites tab. I couldn't help clicking on it. Apparently it has been a year since we updated this thing. So here are some updates:
- We are buying a house. After two years at our current location we decided that we can get a lot more by investing a little bit more money. The house is a lot bigger than what we are used to so it will be pretty empty for a while. There are some little things that we need to do like put in a fence but we should be able to throw some awesome house parties. That's what movies tell me houses are for. It's in Saratoga Springs west of Utah lake so it may seem a bit far out there but once you get off the I-15 the drive is nice. We are looking on moving out at the end of June.
- We lost a car. The Subaru is no longer with us after years of dedicated service. It gave up its life protecting Dani to the bitter end during a collision. I think the Pride parade may have had a memorial service for it as well. If it didn't then it should have. You will be missed Lesbaru
- I figured out how to use bullet points in blog posts.
- Brent gets mad if we don't mention him in posts so... Brent.

I took a bit of a hiatus (I guess that's how you spell it because there was no red under squiggle).
Here is a recap of our summer:
Brazil April 25-May 10 was incredible. I loved getting to know Michael's grandma so much. 2 weeks was the right amount of time, because we had seen all we wanted to see and were ready to go home. But, it was terribly hard to say goodbye to Grandma Dora. I have beautiful pictures that I am far too lazy to post on here, but I'm pretty sure that Michael has them on facebook... along with our wedding pictures. Apparently I'm lazy on here and at posting pics on facebook.
Oregon end of May was also incredible. Michael had started his job already and couldn't take time off and as luck would have it I had 6 weeks until school started for summer term and also NO JOB (which is awesome by the way, I don't every want to work full time again, but I'm assuming I'll have to; again, lazy) so I decided to go home and visit my mommy and daddy and brothers. I brought my fluffy, Titus, with me (he is now a public figure on the good ol' fb - go "Like," him!) and he made best friends with Becker and Bella, my parents huge dogs. It was such a fun trip and I cannot wait to move back to Portland. Especially now that our great friends Matt and Steph are moving there this coming week (we are excited for them and also sad they're leaving).
School started June 20 and it seemed as if it has flown by. I am on my last week! Finals are a week from today, thank goodness. I will finally have this chemistry crap behind me. Do you know I have been taking it for frigging almost every semester for the past 2 years? SO GLAD it will be over in one week. I'm sort of a putz at that sorta thing. You would think that it would be really beneficial to like, have a chem engineer as your husband, but it's horrible for our relationship if he tutors me. I get really angry when I do chemistry. Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde angry.
The only thing I haven't been lazy about is Zumba, it is the best thing that has happened to me since Michael and Apollo Burger (which is arguably the worst thing that has happened to me as well).
This was more of an update, I know I left out major details, like the awesome time I had with Michael's family this weekend and that I miss my friend Andrea and my other friend Melissa and my other friend Heather dearly.
K love you byyyye.

Guys, I've got massive holes in the crochital/thigh region of my pants because my chubby legs rub too much when I walk. My friend Cassie said that happens to her a lot more now because it seems that all the pants now days have like the stretchy spandex in them and it makes them easier to wear down. So that will be my story and I will stick to it.
My plan for now however, is to buy black and blue jean patches (because I have TWO pants that this has happened to). I really would love to by new pants and new clothes, but I also really want to lose weight and I don't want to drop a ton of money, only to drop a ton of lbs and then have to buy new clothes all over again. I'm not sure who I'm kidding though, because I've been saying that for like 5 years.
That's not tacky though is it guys? I don't think so, and no one will know besides my couple followers on this here blog. But don't tell anyone or anything, I don't want rumors getting started that I have crotchless jeans, because A. they aren't crotchless they just have holes near the crotch and B. they won't even have holes in them because I am about to patch them.
Lady Gaga is this weekend guys, and I so coulda gone, but then Michael got sick and I spend way too much on groceries including medicine he makes dissappear in the blink of an eye which is not cheap. I also forgot we had like ya know, bills and stuff and also forgot that Michael bought 50 dollar pair o cleats for football. So I'm like debating on donating/selling my plasma to go, but not really at all. I tried that once and it was horrible.
Anyway, I have greek yogurt and berries to eat and work to do.

I rocked the Rex Lee Run! Ana, my awesome cousin, pushed me really hard (even though I probably didn't look like I was going a speed that said, "Wow she's really cruisin, she must be workin hard) and I beat last year's time by 3 whole minutes!
Go me :)

I'M GOING TO BRAZIL NEXT MONTH! AAAAAAH!
I'm way too excited you guys. However, I have GOT to learn how to take good pictures! I thought my cool blog would be motivation enough, but unfortunately it's not! (Although I do want you guys to see awesome pictures.) My friend Afton, from Michael and I's first married student ward, takes awesome pictures and it's not always of people. She got these cook little hand sanitizers from Bath & Body Works and arranged them all cute and took a picture. Then, there was another post that showed everything she got for her big trip to Europe, nothing too extravagant, but still so cute! Her blog is my blog muse, and unfortunately, I'm making her blog look bad.
Now Michael is "sicker than a dog." Poor guy was up like all last night coughing. I have no idea how I'm going to handle being a mom, if I feel this bad for my full-grown adult husband is this sick and I can't do anything for him. It's going to be even worse for a baby, or a kid.
I just won a free bagel from Einsteins, woot!

Man, we've had stuff to do every weekend for the past 3 weeks! No biggie because I like being busy, but sometimes I just want to do nothing :)
We have stuff going on this coming weekend too, my BFF Andrea's birthday is on Friday and I'm trying to figure out what to get her, and I think I have an idea, but I'm not going to say because I think she reads my blog. But, I could be wrong. Then Brent's birthday is on Saturday and we are going to Layton! Woo hoo! We haven't seen the Cazinhas in forever! I know what we're getting for Brent and he knows what we're getting him too, it's the new Lupe Fiasco CD.
I also have the BYU Rex Lee run this weekend... which I haven't trained for very diligently, and that's partially due to coming down with the plague a couple weeks ago and also partially due to I'm lazy. But, hey, should be fun right?
Guys, we're going to Brazil NEXT MONTH! I can't wait... I just hope Michael's grandma doesn't say I'm fat in Portuguese thinking I can't understand her but I totally can understand the word "fat," in Portuguese. I hear that it's pretty common for foreign people to just state the obvious, but what if I don't want to hear the obvious?
Anyway, that's that!
